Random Stuff. Yams. Donnie Darko. What More Could You Want?!
Hey guys...

I was wondering, is it possible to remove the highlighted bit from the shutdown/logoff buttons on the start menu? My WB skin looks ugly now, because I have LSPatch.

Also I don't know where I should put this so mods/anyone who can, please move this to appropriate forum if necessary.

Reinstall XP to get rid of the LSPatch.

Never heard of LSPatch, what is it?

It's a patch that removes the text from the LogOff\Shutdown button in the start menu in XP.

LS Patch

My problem is like this:

EDIT: I removed the LSPatch using my USB key (it has my explorer.exe on it):

-Killed Explorer via Task Manager
-Opened Command Prompt -> "CD C:\WINDOWS\"
-Typed in "del explorer.exe"
-Run the explorer on my USB key; explorer runs
-Copied explorer in USB key to C:\WINDOWS

Easy as that!

But of course I don't want the text back. I just want the buttons to light up/whatever it's called without the light blue highlighting around it.
